Our putting greens are installed in a matter of days not weeks or months.  Good weather always helps when building outside, but the typical installation of the synthetic golf greens is a fraction of the time when compared to natural grass. Practice areas and course projects need to install sod or grow grass around the green so that errant shots land on grass.  For short chip shots and putting, play can begin the day your putting green is completed.
