Our surfaces utilize the benefits of sand-filled synthetic putting greens. The golf green surface is created using the latest and most advanced synthetic turf available. This golf turf is filled with specific round sand that allows the green to react just like a natural grass green when a golf shot is hit into the green. This specific round sand is placed down inside the turf fiber during installation. We install about 8 pounds per square foot of sand down into the fibers. The sand and turf fiber work together. The sand holds the turf down and the turf fibers prevent any washing of the sand during heavy rains. How does weather affect synthetic putting greens?
